Hi I'm Dan and I currently reside in Lancaster NY. Before I began my career with Precision I was a machinist and an insurance adjuster. I find solving problems and helping meet customers needs to be very satisfying. That is why I love my career as a service technician. It's also great to be outside everyday. In my spare time I enjoy sporting events and recently took up golf, which I look towards playing more of.

I was very happy that there was an opening on this snowy day(Saturday). Dan called not long after I called the main office. He was there in about 30 min.... I showed him the problem and he knew right away. After he finished he explained what he did!! He was very professional and polite!! Very happy with the results.

Opener was not functioning properly. Tried three places and only Precision could send Amanda out the same day. Dan came over within the hour and assessed the problem. He gave me several options and we settled on a new motor. He was professional, neat and completed in 90 minutes. Fantastic service and I am completely satisfied.

Dan arrived promptly at 8:00. He reviewed the condition of the door and opener pointing out that the door was an old model. He pointed out a broken spring and also pointed out and offered to replace other parts (rollers) that could be replaced. I chose to only replace the broken springs and he quoted me a price for the service. I agreed and he quickly replaced the parts that needed to be replace3d and also replaced some missing bolts that was causing the door to have an erratic movement. Finally he explained some maintenance alternatives to keep the old parts from needing to be replaced in the near future. I will abide by his recommendations. Thanks.

Had a problem with a sticking door that wouldn’t go all the way up. Tech was knowledgeable and pointed out what went wrong with previous repair (prior owner). Corrected my spring problem and was on his way. Really seamless transaction.

Having used Precision Door Service at our previous house we did not hesitate to call your company when our garage door would not open at this house. I called at 7:00am and after giving some information to the rep. that answered the phone I was pleasantly surprised when she said that someone would be out that day between 8:00am & noon. I was equally surprised when Daniel called and said he would be arriving at around 8:20am. When Daniel arrived he quickly diagnosed the problem; gave us 3 possible options & a recommendation. Choosing option #2 he quickly went to work and installed a new rail, opener, interior and exterior pads and 2 new safety beams. From start to finish approximately an hour. Daniel was very informative, professional and neat. I will not hesitate to recommend your company and Daniel. Job well done.

I got in my garaged car the other morning only to discover my garage door would not open. I have used another service but thought I would try Precision based on the reviews. My tech Dan did a great job, neat and cleaned up. Explained everything. The only issue I had was a part that needed replacing but before I approved it was replaced and the cost was a lot more than what I could have replaced it for -about $180. Bill- Mgr. called me and stated he would adjust the cost. Bill is the reason I would recommend Precision over any other. Thanks Team.

I am a repeat customer of Precision Garage Door Service . The Serviceman Daniel Sayre was excellent explaining what was wrong with my existing garage door opener and what options I had. I choose to replace my unit with what Daniel recommended a PDS 800 DC OPENER W/2 REMOTES AND KEYPAD. The opener he recommended runs so quite you can't hear it. Great Job Again!!!!

I was definitely disappointed in the cost of the repair to my garage door. I will definitely look else where the next time I need my garage door repaired. Another thing that made me wary was the repair man kept saying the the repair is warranted for exactly 1 year not one day later which makes me wonder how long this repair will last. The cost was exorbitant will not use again.

Nancy, thank you for taking the time to review us. The option you chose to fix your door was the lowest cost option available, and competitive when compared to our competitors. Your door was purchased through another company and only 5 years old. The springs were broken. This is not a good indication of a high quality door. Our recommendation would be to upgrade to a better spring with a better warranty. I am confident the springs we put on your door will last longer than one year, however our recommendation would be to upgrade the existing parts on the door that we can tell will be an issue going forward.

Very pleased with my experiences with Precision. After a sent a request online for a service call, I received a phone call with an hour, and a repair truck was on the way the same day. I needed to have the outdoor keypad checked and Dan, the service tech, called before he came, and was so professional and efficient that he was finished with the work within 30 minutes. Great job!

The day I called was the day I got a new garage door opener, ably installed by Dan -- and explained thoroughly before he left. A power surge had zapped the garage door opener. Dan came out the same day I called, explained my options, did NOT try to upsell me, but did explain what else might happen, replaced the door and all in all, it was a very good experience. I'd not only recommend them, I'd purchase another one from them if I had another garage door.

The entire experience from the phone call to the end result was exceptional. The tech arrived sooner than expected (bonus) and was very clear about what the options were. He didn't try to sell a whole new door or opener system. He diagnosed the problem and explained the three options he recommended. It wasn't the typical up sell. He was completely equipped with everything to do the job on his truck and after we decide on which option to go with, he immediately got to work and the door was working better than ever in no time. He took all the old broken parts with him and was very thorough in his clean up. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to everyone I know. Overall experience was amazing!

Put in a call because a spring and its cables failed on our garage door. We were told that someone would be out on Saturday between 8am and 12pm to give a quote. Your tech, Daniel Sayre, called at about 7:40, said he'd be arriving at 8am, and showed up right on the dot. I have to say that he was one of the friendliest and straightforward service techs I've ever dealt with. He evaluated the situation, gave us all the options, and then had all the requested work done in under two hours. I will definitely be recommending you guys to anyone who needs garage door work done.
