Mario's Bio:
I was born and raised near Frankfurt, Germany. At the age of 21 I moved to Basel, Switzerland to take a job with the Pharmaceutical company, Hoffman La Roche. After 11 years in pharmaceuticals I left for the U.S. and worked in logistics for several companies in the Buffalo area. I eventually got tired of living the office 9-5 life so I decided to bring my industry knowledge and talents to Precision Door. When not working I like to spend my time with my girlfriend and we like to travel to the Tampa area often.

i called Precision late in the afternoon on a Friday, scheduled an appointment for the following day. i was told the technician would come between 12 and 4. Mario called at 11:30 to say he'd be at my house at 12, which he was. he was very professional, honest, pleasant and courteous. he explained 3 options available to me, and said it would take approximately 2 hours to complete the work, which was what it took. i would absolutely recommend both Precision and Mario!

Saw an add to waive service fee so I called. I don’t know if they are the cheapest but they had evening hours, came when the said, explained what they were going to do and my options. Very professional and cleaned up.

My technician Mario Umbach was great. He came within 2 hours of my door being broken, changed out the springs and even changed the light bulbs to my garage door opener! Thank you!!!

I heard an ad on the radio and I decided to look them up on the internet. I was happy to see that they could respond the same day and even happier that they could get to my house after I got home from work. Mario did a great job ! He explained everything after a quick inspection and quickly got to work after we decided on what needed to be done. He was very polite and well spoken and very professional the truck was very clean and neat . Mario cleaned up after himself and everything worked out perfectly ! I am very happy with the company from the way that Lauren took my information to the way Mario called me when he was on the way . Great Job ! I would highly recommend them !!

Mario was early for the appointment, He was very patient with my elderly parents and explained all the options. They chose a new door opener spring system. The work was completed quickly and the cleanup was immaculate. Give that man a raise!

Service was very good with quality parts, but the cost was excessively high. I paid $869 for basically a new spring and cables. When the door was originally installed in 2000, I paid $710 for a new door and full installation!

Hello John, I'm not sure what kind of door you originally purchased, but I know your door was around 20 years old. The parts on an average garage door are not designed to last that long. You chose a full overhaul package of you garage door when given options by Mario. This includes swapping out all the old warn moving parts and hardware of the door. Which includes about a dozen individual components. A new door with parts equal to the qaulity of the parts we use would have cost significantly more. I can see in your inspection that your motor is also 18 years old, which I assume you had installed with your door. I think it's safe to say prices have likely doubled since then and I wouldn't expect much more life out of that 18 year old motor.

Very pleased with assessment of my overhead garage door. It hasn't been reliable over this past year and now I know why. It's 17 years old and is showing it's age. Mario showed me the signs of wear and rust and the strained motor sound and explained my options. I appreciated his honesty and expertise. I'm looking forward to the installation of my new garage door not only for my peace of mind, but for the resale value and capital improvement benefits. And the curb appeal!

Five minutes! That's how long it took Mario to diagnose my garage door problem when a competitor couldn't figure it out even after several hours. I first went with one of the larger if not the largest outfit. They said it was the logic board. But, following installation and after almost three hours, the tech was unsuccessful in reprograming the remotes or the key pad. (I truly felt so bad for this tech as I strongly suspect he was not properly trained) Then I had to put up with condescending customer support, unempathetic upper brass together with what I later learned was the installation of an eight year old logic board that either wasn't working or was incorrectly installed. Such unnecessary grief. Intuitively, I knew it was a simple issue but it needed someone with experience to focus in on the problem. I found a five star rating for Precision on line and Mario came within 15 minutes of my phone call to the office (I got lucky) and solved the problem with a brand new (not eight year old) logic board (which he had on his truck) and easily reprogrammed the remotes and key pad. Checked the tension and give me advice on how to care for the garage door etc. Here and gone in about 45 minutes. Came with a sincere smile, kind disposition and was clearly well trained. You know those people you're lucky to come across when needed who answer your questions even before you ask them? Those people are assets in any organization. That's Mario. Mark Giangreco

The service man arrived when promised. He explained everything that he needed to d and why. I felt the price was reasonable, and he completed the work fast. The only problem that I experienced is that he left the bar and springs st the curb in front of my house but the trash people didn't pick it up. I will need to cut it into smaller pieces and find a way to get rid of it. I would highly recommend Precision.

I was watching TV and saw a commercial for Precision. Our garage door that we bought from Hamburg Overhead Door in 1999 was in serious need of repair. Since they wanted to charge us to look at it, we decided they didn't stand behind their product so knowing we would need to buy a new door we called Precision. One of the best decisions we made. Door is beautiful, quiet and the service/installation team were professional and friendly. They showed me everything about the door and I felt they were committed to a great product and certainly great service. Thank you Precision!

My only disappointment was that I selected Precision because your advertisement stated that repairs were available immediately. Unfortunately, my door failed to work on a Sunday morning and I had to wait 48 hours until you could send Mario.

Our opener broke late one afternoon, I called Precision Door Service and they arranged for a service team to come to our house within 90 minutes. They offered several options for repair of replace. As unit was over 15 years old I opted for mid-range replace. Opener was much quieter than old unit and technician suggested that new rollers would help even more to reduce noise and ensure efficient operation of new opener. I can barely hear the door open now. Work was completed within 60 minutes. Very satisfied with job and especially with Mario, our technician.
