When my garage doors needed service, Precision showed up on time - even a bit early - and actually took the time to troubleshoot the problem with my door. The technician even called the manufacturer directly, who said they no longer supported that particular model opener. He also pointed out some very valid reasons why I may want to consider a new motor and door all together. He explained it to me in simple, clear language and showed me evidence that I could understand the reason for his recommendation. I had to agree, but because I have two doors and wanting to match colors, and not wanting to run into the same problem somewhere down the line, I elected to purchase two new doors and openers. They arrived, the installer called me when he was expected to be on location and when I came home from work that day, two absolutely beautiful garage doors were installed. When I pressed the operations buttons, I couldn't believe how "whisper quiet" the motors were. My goodness, if I was sleeping, these doors wouldn't wake me up! The color is beautiful and the installer was VERY considerate of my garage. There was no mess left behind. I am very happy with the appearance, operation and installation of these garage doors. Precision Overhead Doors delivered the exact service they said they would, and they did it when they said they would. They were professional, and considerate. I would HIGHLY recommend them (and in fact did to my neighbor) to anyone looking for garage door service.

I had an issue with my garage door not opening. After Bill came by to inspect the problem, a sensor needed to be replaced in the operating system. As it was covered by warranty, I was pleased. After the part came in , they were able to come by the next day and install the new part. I was able to go to work and leave the garage door open. When I came home I noticed how quiet the door was. They must have adjusted and greased the runners! A nice surprise. Very professional and trustworthy. I made a good choice in my initial investment.

The service man appeared during the stated times. He looked at and replaced the cables one of which was frayed. He worked quickly. He gave me suggestions regarding lubrication that might reduce the stress on the cables. The door installed in 2009 was still under warranty, so there was no charge for parts or labor.
