Even though the problem wasn't one that required immediate attention, it was nice being able to contact someone, schedule an appointment and get the problem taken care of without having the whole process drag on. My technician Robert was awesome! When my wife and I got home today we hit the garage door opener and it opened 2 feet and stopped. Going inside I noticed the spring had broke. I called Precision Door and they said they would be there tonight! Between 4 and 8. Robert showed up about 30 minutes later and had my door fixed in less than 30 minutes. He was extremely informative and friendly and perhaps most importantly competent. The spring he used had a obvious quality that the sping that broke did not. I have confidence it will last a long time and in fact has a great warranty to back it up. It was not properly installed by another company and he clearly explained what he was going to do fix that and why. My garage door has never worked better. My wife and I are thrilled. Its something as simple as a garage door that you take for granted until it doesn't work anymore. Thank you Precision door and especially Robert for your superior "Precision" service!

What a superb customer service experience. Within minutes (less than 5) I had an email acknowledgement come to my "smarty phone" confirming my request for service, the name of the Service Technician (Robert P.) being dispatched, and what time he could be expected. Robert P. arrived on-site in just over a half-hour (35 mins). Besides just replacing the torsion springs, Robert pointed out (diagnosed) seized rollers and a buckling door panel that were causing "undue" stress to the garage door opener system. (The garage door is 23 years old) - Robert's service was prompt, courteous, and most importantly - competent.
