Daniel arrived quickly within the time mentioned to us. We decided not to repair the old opener that was 20 years old and had him install a new opener (PDS-800). He stated it would take about 90 minutes to dismantle the old one and install the new one, which seemed very quick to me! I think it took him even less to do it!! Unbelievable! He also showed us how to program our vehicle's factory remote. Very happy with the job and the technician. Thank you.!

I called Precision because my garage door springs had snapped. Mario Umbach was dispatched to my house and arrived right on time. Mario assessed the situation and advised me on my repair options. He was very professional and thorough. After figuring out what I needed he started on the repairs. You could tell he knew what he was doing, was very careful and kept his work area clean. Hi William, Just had Anthony leave my house and he did a great job. He was very nice and extremely professional. My only issue, and I won’t post this as a review, is he installed four new garage door sensors at $180.00 pair. I just looked on Amazon and the same sensors are $32.00 pair. I totally understand you need to be profitable but to me that’s a bit excessive wouldn’t you say? It’s not a big job to connect some wires but thought while he was here I’d have him do it I never thought those sensors were that inexpensive, but that‘s on me, lesson learned, I should have checked. It’s to bad because I’ve used Precision a few times and the service is very good. I just can’t deal with that kind of mark up. I won’t post this cause I should have known better and that’s not really my style. You wanted a favor regarding my post, there it is. Unfortunately I was looking for a favor today from Precision, to be charged fairly, , we’ll I guess we both know how that turned out. Have a great day!!! Mark Perna

Mark, I'm sorry you were unhappy with the price of our service. We believe there is value in sending a certified technician to your home in a fully stocked truck. We are not a delivery company like amazon and do not send delivery drivers. Regardless of the cost of the product the labor and overhead is what dictates the final price. Our labor fees are competitive with our industry and all our technicians are IDEA certified.

Hi Carol, The customer service rep should have quoted this price over the phone. There is a minimum charge of $149 for up to an hour of labor to deliver and program remotes and keypads. We listened to the call and she did not quote you properly. We have issued a refund for the $149.

I love the new door I had installed. It makes a huge impact on the home. The salesman was very friendly and thorough when he came out during the Covid time . He kept his distance.The scheduling was timely. The installers came earlier than scheduled which was fine, they were efficient and cleaned up.

I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with your online chat representative at 4 AM on a Monday, your scheduling staff for Cheektowaga (716-272-1124) later Monday morning, and especially your service personnel at my home on Wednesday. * I chose to have the work performed 2 days after my call to the scheduler, for my convenience, knowing that you indeed would have been at my home within hours had I needed it. Thank you. Having been a Facility Manager at a major manufacturing, sales, and warehouse facility for 12 years, I know ‘quality’ when I see it! I am quite impressed with the actions and capabilities of your employees: including those ‘live’ online, those involved directly in the scheduling service, and the on-site Service/Sales personnel I met today, Eric Bruton. and his teammate Scott. The scheduling person I spoke to was on top of her game, spoke succinctly, and recited back to me the information I presented, so as to be sure she had everything she needed of me. I often find it difficult to understand many individuals on the telephone, so I especially appreciate her being well-spoken, efficient, and professional. I applaud your initiative for keeping your vehicles well-functioning (stocked and ready to go), and visually outstanding with the perfect vehicle wrap design. Having sharp, clean, newer vehicles of course speaks volumes for any company. Your website was very professionally done: It provided me with all the information I’d needed to arrange for somewhat urgent service to repair a double garage door that had fallen off track, detaching the lift cables, and was left hanging awkwardly. Recognizing that it was time for professionals to take charge, I left it safely suspended with heavy ropes and called for an appointment. To me it appeared the job would involve a lot of work for two capable technicians, so I appreciate that your technicians were knowledgeable, efficient, team-orientated, clearly dedicated to serving the customer, and that they performed the job so quickly. Specifically, regarding the work at my home, Eric Bruton discussed the options of repair versus replacement. I decided to purchase a new door and hardware, but needed the door in a usable condition immediately, to protect the contents inside the garage. The crew of two repaired the door in less than 2 hours utilizing most of the old components, thus keeping the cost down. With the proper tools on hand, and the skills of the technicians, the track was straightened, and the torsion springs, cables and pulleys were reconnected and adjusted perfectly. Voila; the door was all set for a couple of months. A few weeks waiting for the new door is most agreeable. What’s a few weeks of waiting, when a complete new door, at an excellent price I must say, will be custom manufactured and installed soon. I was happy to pay the service/repair fee, for once the work was completed, the old door worked well enough to last quite a while. Though the repair cost was unexpectedly low, and the repaired door worked fairly well, I thought it would be best to install a new door for appearance sake, and to keep the garage protected for another 20 years. The cost of the new door, installed, was very reasonable, so I placed a down payment Immediately. Please relay my thanks to your inside associates who may have been involved, and particularly to the technicians for a job well done. I feel comfortable that I‘ve chosen the ‘right’ overhead door service company. I look forward to the installation of the new paneled overhead door in a few weeks. Sincerely, B. Kirst
