It is really sad that there are companies like yours. I got a quote for same door. apples to apples. Their quote: $1,750. Your quote: $3,249. You should be ashamed of yourself how you gouge people.

Hi Julio, If you think that is the case I would take up us on our 105% apples to apples price match warranty. Simply send us a copy of the written estimate and if that's true we'll take an additional 5% off their price. Unfortunately, I can see we quoted you for a door that comes with a lifetime warranty "parts and labor". Our cost on that particular door is more than you were quoted. We are the largest retailer in Western New York, so I don't see how someone would be able to quote a lower price than our cost on that product. Best of luck with whatever company you choose to go with.

I needed a new remote but you charged me 149.00 for 10 minutes labor I think that is excessive. price gouging at its best.

Hi Carol, The customer service rep should have quoted this price over the phone. There is a minimum charge of $149 for up to an hour of labor to deliver and program remotes and keypads. We listened to the call and she did not quote you properly. We have issued a refund for the $149.
I am not happy with the service I received today. I was quoted one price for the part of 250. When I questioned that, I was given a second quote of 150. I accepted the price of 150 and part was installed. I paid by charge and signed the ipad without seeing the invoice --my fault, although I did say before I signed --$150, correct?. When I checked my invoice it was 175. When I questioned the price,l, I received a call from the tech. He told me it was miss communication and that he told me it was 175. I will not recommended precision door to anyone as I feel I was deceived about the price. I should have asked to check the price before I signed the invoice, but I took him at his word. Very dissatisfied

Frank, I apologize for the confusion. However, the technician insisted he gave you an estimated price before he looked up the price and then told you the correct price, which you repeated back to him. We normally don't play he said she said, but we issued you a refund regardless.
Technician came out when expected, so one star! We had a chain that had come loose because two bolts had sheared off at the pulley assembly. The technician kept talking about checking the motor and how it would cost $149.95 an hour to do so. I told him it was NOT a problem with the motor, but rather the chain coming off the pulley. He kept saying he was first going to check the motor. Oh, and, hey! A new motor would cost $500 plus two hours at $149.95/hour to install it. I told him he could leave. Ended up spending $75 for a "service call" for no service because the technician would NOT stop talking about selling me a new motor. i was hoping for his expertise in fixing the existing problem, but... No. It was a sales call, pure and simple.

Craig I think there was some confusion because that is not how our pricing works. The bolts that sheared off at the pulley assembly are part of the motor. Needless to say if they are shearing off there is a significant issue. Replacing the bolts is not going to solve the cause of them shearing off. There is no additional charge on top of the motor cost to install the motor. Any work performed outside of the installation of the motor would have a charge.
I give the front office a one star rating. I did not have a problem with the service technician he did a fine job. Purchased a new garage door two years ago. Now I am having trouble with the finish on the garage door. Two days ago a service technician looked at my problem and I have not heard a word from the office yet. Hopefully somebody will contact me soon thank You.

Where right on top of that Art. There is nothing wrong with the finish. Some insulation go on the back of your door during the manufacturing process and has yellowed over time. We have a way to clean it off and refinish the discolored parts.

I ordered a door an automatic door opener for my garage. They put the door up, forgot the windows, an never put my trim up. They said another company will do the trim. Now they say that Precision does the trim. I am still waiting!! It is July 22nd. I will think twice from now on when it sounds to good to be true.

Yes Tammy, We took over the aluminum wrapping from the subcontractor we were using because they couldn't keep up. I see the manufacturer also sent your window panel without the windows, even though it was labeled a window panel. These things sometimes happen, especially when dealing with such high volume. We will calling you to schedule the swap out for the correct panel as well as the wrap so it is done on the same day. The panel should be in shortly, so you will be hearing from us soon.

I needed new cables and my torsion springs rewound. Precision's same day service was super convenient. The technician arrived on time and was friendly, courteous and did a great job. I would give a 4-star rating based on that alone. However, my 1-star rating is because of the ridiculous cost of my repair Precision charged for the two new cables! That is OUTRAGEOUS considering you can buy a pair of cables yourself for a FRACTION of that cost.

Very unsatisfied with the work. Still don't have my issue resolved. When I call for service the gentleman that comes insists it's a problem with garage door opener. Which is not the case, sorry a garage door opener does not cause an uneven door.

April, I apologize for the inconvenience. It was a pleasure meeting you and your husband this week. You do have a problem with your opener, but that is not what is causing your problem. After using a level on your door it is perfectly level, but I have discovered a different issue. We will have Ryan out on Monday afternoon to make the proper adjustments to your door so it doesn't get stuck like it has been. Thank you for your business and have a Happy Thanksgiving.
I waited for 2hours and noone showed...I called your office and talked w/guy who said he was there at front door at noon and no one answered...I told he was full of it caus I was sitting in my car near the corner and had a clear vision of front and side...he also said he tried to call but phone number was bogus....i again said he was full of bull...that was...i'll never call for any service from your outfit in the future nor recommend your outfit....

Our Technician arrived on time and found that no one was at home. We were not aware that Mr. Roman was in his car, somewhere on the street, waiting for our technician. The phone number we had on record was not correct making it impossible for our technician to contact Mr. Roman to let him know we were at his home. We have attempted to contact Mr.Roman to no avail. This was an unusual circumstance and we regret the onconvienece caused by it.
