Technician came out when expected, so one star! We had a chain that had come loose because two bolts had sheared off at the pulley assembly. The technician kept talking about checking the motor and how it would cost $149.95 an hour to do so. I told him it was NOT a problem with the motor, but rather the chain coming off the pulley. He kept saying he was first going to check the motor. Oh, and, hey! A new motor would cost $500 plus two hours at $149.95/hour to install it. I told him he could leave. Ended up spending $75 for a "service call" for no service because the technician would NOT stop talking about selling me a new motor. i was hoping for his expertise in fixing the existing problem, but... No. It was a sales call, pure and simple.

Craig I think there was some confusion because that is not how our pricing works. The bolts that sheared off at the pulley assembly are part of the motor. Needless to say if they are shearing off there is a significant issue. Replacing the bolts is not going to solve the cause of them shearing off. There is no additional charge on top of the motor cost to install the motor. Any work performed outside of the installation of the motor would have a charge.

Excellent service from beginning to end. Called on a Saturday morning, they were at my home by 2pm. Eric (my technician) was polite, efficient, and well versed when taking the time to explain and show us issues!! I would recommend to anyone. And just to clarify, product purchased would not all multiple choices, we went with a package that included spring, rollers, and cables which included a 5 year warranty

Wow! What service. First, when I called I never expected that an appointment could be made as quickly as this. I was emailed a message confirming the window I could expect the service person to come right after I hung up the phone. Shortly after that, I received a text message from the service person with the time he expected to come. Here's the shocker-it included a picture of the repair man. Great for seniors to be able to identify who's coming. He arrived ON TIME and introduced himself. The only entrance available was my front door. He offered to remove his boots before entering. Very thoughtful. He explained all of the options available to me and I selected the one that best fit my needs and level of use. No pressure on any options. I respect this. He was polite, respectful, and responsive to my specific needs. Th company has a great website that introduced the service folks and their managers. I really appreciated their use of technology (email, text, and even a live chat with a very polite help person). Finally, after visiting visiting the website, I found that they had an A+ rating with the BBB. I would recommend them to anyone and already let my sister know how we were treated. Great company.

I called Precision after reading so many satisfied customer reviews, and I can add my name to that list, as well. As our garage door lock would no longer engage and stay locked, Collin tried to repair it, but it wouldn't work, so he tried to replace it, but the new lock didn't cover the holes left in the garage door from the previous one, so he replaced it to cover the holes, and suggested the side lock which solved the problem. I was very happy with his work, and he left everything spotless, and I would definitely recommend him and Precision Door Service.

good job. However, I was quoted a price over the phone prior to installation and I also printed a coupon from your website for $ 15 off of a installed garage door opener. Your technician upon consult with your office would not honor the coupon. Otherwise satisfied. Therefore I give you 4 stars out of 5.

Just had two new openers installed along with brand new hardware for my existing doors. My service tech Rob was very upfront, honest and matter of fact when it came to discussing what needed to be done. He did an outstanding job, very professional. I would highly recommend!

Pro: Quick service Con: They left my garage squeaking more than it was before the springs were changed. Called back to have them oil/fix it and the service guy shows up wanting to charge us another service fee for something they did! He refused fix it because we said we wouldn’t pay for something the company did. They thought they were being nice when they said we’ll let the service fee go this time but next time you call, we will charge you just to show up. I thought this was shady and horrible customer service; not backing up your work and fixing the problem. *Thanks Precision for making my family cringe every time that garage door goes up and down. TAKE CARE OF YOUR CUSTOMERS AND DON’T WORRY SO MUCH ABOUT THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR.

We're sorry you were unhappy with the service. We made recommendations on the first visit to replace damaged components that were causing the noise you were complaining about. The fix is replacing the broken part that was making the noise. You declined this now the door is still making noises.

Met Collin A the Precision garage door co. Tech. He was very knowledgeable, (he new his business). He explained what he felt what else should be done to the door besides changing the springs to make it operate like new. I took his recommendations and had him do the work. I have never been so impressed professionally and from the minute I contacted the receptionist I was blown away by your attention and attitude to get me up and running! In less than 1 hour Mario calls and then comes to our house. Springs broken and unable to enter. This man has the work ethic of 100% plus! Mario completely righted the very poor job done sub standard by the builder of Amber Meadows. ( Adams’s door and they had “ no availability “ til the next day. I told them I was a repeat customer and President of the Association of 44 homes and was not able to enter my home. That’s when I called Precison! In a matter of minutes it was on the docket. Needed to replace my 20 year old garage door after it froze to the ground and called Precision Door. The technician made a temporary fix (at no charge) while my door was being manufactured. The tech that installed to door was efficient and friendly. We did have an issue with my old sensors, but they replaced them at no charge and my door is now functioning perfectly. Thanks!

I have to say that I'm not easily impressed but Bob D. was great. On time, polite and efficient. From our first phone call at 7 a.m. this morning til Bob very impressed. We are going to get a new door because are's cannot be fixed unless we want to deal with Hamburg Doors and that is not a option. It's nice to see a company run so well. Also you were recommended to us by a couple we know.
